Signs of the Times

During the past two decades, the majority of B.C. Municipalities have embraced, encouraged and enjoyed myriad eclectic groups of Mayors & Councils . .  . who instead of encumbering . . . . . . embraced, encouraged and enjoyed economic development.

During the past two decades plus, Oliver has endured only three different Mayors and sadly, less than a handful of one term Councillors.

During the past two decades plus, Oliver’s Rural and First Nation’s economic development seeding, rooted and budded and flowered and continues to flourish, not floundering towards failure, even with the deaf direction director.

A Sad Sign of the Signs of the Times are Oliver Politicos, as a team, pointing at floundering and failed businesses while piously pontificating . . . proclaiming them as Signs of the Times.

A Somber Sign of the Signs of the Times is that after the past two decades plus, Oliver’s fall can only be small.
