A Higher and Better Use for Centennial Park

Finding another who would also vocalize their being offended by Oliver’s military mayor’s desire to see a “Higher and Better Use” for our Centennial Park is as Odd now as ODCEDS was then. See Letter to the editor

Having disbanded and abandoned any and all their economic development endeavours in lieu of Studies & more Studies, this Mayor and Council have conceded and acknowledged that economic development is beyond their understanding.

More Oliver folks signed a petition to “Save Centennial Park” than voted – yet Council turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to their pleading.

What saved Centennial Park then was the will of the people.

What saves Centennial Park now is the Mayor and Councils’ grasp on economic development.   See  Despite The Spite And Might Centennial Park Lives

For the most part Politicians are a corrupt untrustworthy group. I’d like to do a video discussion of this issue.

But not at the regular “open council meeting” There is a resolution prohibiting Citizen Video.
